Nani was born into a Hindu family. His father’s name is Rambabu Ghanta and His mother’s name is Vijayalakshmi Ghanta is a Pharmacist. He has a younger sister named Deepthi Ghanta.
On 27th October 2012, Nani married his long-time girlfriend, Anjana Yelavarthy, and they have a son named Arjun Ghanta born on 29th March 2017.

Career:
After finishing his studies, Nani worked as Radio Jockey at World Satellite radio and hosted a program titled ‘Non-Stop with Nani’. Due to his passion for movies, he then joined as an assistant at director Bapu alias Sattiraju Lakshminarayana.
Nani worked under director Bapu as a clap boy for Radha Gopalam (2005) movie. as a clap director. He next worked as an assistant director for various movies like Allari Bullodu (2005), Astram (2006), and Dhee (2007).
In 2008, Nani started his acting career with the film Ashta Chamma, a Romantic comedy-drama directed by Mohan Krishna Indraganti. The film received positive feedback from the audience & critics and marked the beginning of Nani’s career in Telugu Cinema.
Nani next acted in a few movies like Ride (2009), Snehituda(2009), and Bheemili Kabaddi Jatu (2010), all those movies received mixed reviews but Nani’s performance was praise by critics and audiences alike.
Nani next delivered back-to-back hits like Ala Modalaindi (2011), Pilla Zamindar (2011), Eega (2012) and Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu (2012). Later, Nani acted in various movies like Paisa (2014), Janda Pai Kapiraju (2015), and Yevade Subramanyam (2015), except Yevade Subramanyam remaining all movies, failed to impress audiences.
Nani then starred in ‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoy’ in 2015, a comedy-drama directed by Maruthi. In the film, Nani played the role of Lucky, a young man with an absent mind and by profession a botanist. The film was marked as Nani’s first blockbuster movie by earning more than 50 cr gross at the box office.
Later, Nani acted in several other Telugu films, including Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha, Gentleman, Majnu, Nenu Local, Ninnu Kori, Middle Class Abbayi, Krishnarjuna Yuddham, Devadas, Jersey, Nani’s Gang Leader, V, Tuck Jagadish, Shyam Singha Roy, and Ante Sundaraniki. In these films, Nani played a wide range of characters, showcasing his versatility and range as an actor.
Nani’s Next outing Dasara movie is one the most awaited movie in Telugu Cinema. The film will be out on 30th March 2023 in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada languages.
Apart from his acting skills, Nani produced a few movies like D for Dopidi (2013), Awe (2018), HiTThe First Case (2020), Meet Cute (2022) and Hit The Second Case (2022). In 2018, Nani hosted the famous reality show Bigg Boss Telugu Season 2.
