Yash aka Naveen Kumar Gowda is a talented Indian actor known for his work in the Kannada film industry. With his good looks and acting talent, Yash has won the hearts of millions of fans across the globe.
Yash filmography:
After his studies, in 2004, Yash started his acting career in Kannada Television Industry and acted in a few serials like Uttarayana (2004), Silli Lalli (2004), Nanda Gokula (2005), Preeti illada Mele (2006), Male Billu (2007), and Shiva (2007).
In 2007, Yash made his acting debut in the Kannada Film Industry with the Jambada Hudugi movie, in which he played a supporting role. In 2008, Yash acted in Moggina Manasu movie as a love interest of his Nanda Gokula co-star Radhika Pandit.
Later, for the first time, Yash played the lead role in the Rocky movie but failed to impress the audience. Yash next acted in a couple of films like Kallara Santhe (2009), and Gokula (2009) but received mixed reviews and then appeared in a cameo in the Thamassu (2010) movie.
Yash then delivered back-to-back hits with Modalasala (2010), Rajadhani (2011), Kirataka (2011), Lucky (2012), Jaanu (2012), Drama (2012), Chandra (2013), Googly (2013), Raja Huli (2013) and Gajakesari (2014).
Yash next acted in the Mr and Mrs Ramachari movie along with Radhika Pandit directed by Santosh Ananddram. The film was a commercial success and become the Highest Grossing Kannada Film of All Time. Later, Yash acted in a couple of films like Masterpiece (2015), Santhu Straight Forward (2016) and those movies increased Yash’s stardom in the Kannada Film Industry.
KGF Franchise:
In 2018, Yash acted in the KGF: Chapter 1 directed by Prashanth Neel. Yash played the role of Rocky, a rebellious youngster who wanted to rise to power in the world of crime as per her mother’s wish. The film was a massive blockbuster and set a new benchmark for the Kannada film industry.
Yash continued his success with KGF: Chapter 2, which was released on 14th April 2022. This time Yash broke the records at the national level and set new benchmarks in every corner of the country. The film collected more than 1200 crores gross at the box office and ended as the 4th position of All Time Top grosser in the India Film industry.
