Jr NTR Movies List: Jr NTR, also known as Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, is one of the most popular actors in the Telugu film industry. He is the grandson of the legendary actor and politician, N.T. Rama Rao, and the son of actor Nandamuri Harikrishna.
He is known for his versatile acting skills and his ability to portray a wide range of characters on the screen.
Jr NTR filmography:
In 1991, Jr NTR made his debut as a child actor with his grandfather’s movie Brahmarshi Vishwamitra in the Telugu Film Industry. He next acted in the Ramayanam movie, where he played the role of Lord Rama. In 2001, NTR then made his debut as a lead actor in the film Ninnu Choodalani.
However, it was his second movie Student No.1 Directed by S.S. Rajamouli that brought him recognition and established him as an actor in the Telugu film industry. The film was a huge commercial success and Jr NTR’s performance was widely praised.
NTR next acted in the Subbu movie, but the film ended as the average fare at the box office. In 2002, NTR acted in the Aadi movie, directed by VV Vinayak which was a massive commercial success at the box office.
Later, NTR acted in a couple of movies like Allari Ramudu (2002), and Naaga (2002) but both movies failed to impress the audience. In 2003, NTR worked a second time with SS Rajamouli for the Simhadri movie. The film was a massive blockbuster hit and is considered one of Jr NTR’s best performances.
Later, NTR acted in various movies like Andhrawala, Samba, Naa Alludu, Narasimhudu, Ashok, and Rakhi but all those movies became duds at the box office. During this time, SS Rajamouli suggested NTR to reduce his weight and NTR got liposuction to lose weight for the Yamadonga movie.
For the third time, NTR and SS Rajamouli collaborated again for the Yamadonga movie. The film was a critical and commercial success and Jr NTR’s performance was widely praised.
NTR next acted in various films like Kantri (2008), Adhurs (2010), Brindavanam (2010), Sakthi (2011), Oosaravelli (2011), and Dammu (2012) Expect Adhurs & Brindavanam remaining all movies became duds at the box office.
Later, NTR acted in the Baadshah (2013) movie and The film is a commercial success collecting Rs 47 crore share at the box office. NTR next acted in a couple of films like Ramayya Vasthavayya (2013), and Rabhasa (2014) but both movies became utter flops.
NTR next delivered back-to-back hits like Temper (2015), Nannaku Prematho (2016), Janatha Garage (2016), Jai Lava Kusa (2017), Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava (2018) and RRR (2022). He portrayed a wide range of characters and his performance in those films was widely appreciated.
Currently, NTR working with Koratala Siva for the Devara movie. He also signed War 2 and a film with Prashanth Neel.
