Career:
Ram Charan was interested in acting from a young age and used to visit his father’s film sets during his school holidays. He was deeply influenced by his father’s work and decided to pursue a career in acting.
Ram Charan made his acting debut in 2007 with the film Chirutha, directed by Puri Jagannadh. Ram Charan’s performance was praised by critics and audiences alike. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South for his performance in the film. The movie was a Hit at the box office and collected Rs 25 Cr share, which is the highest ever collection for a debut movie in South Film Industry.
In 2009, Ram Charan starred in the film Magadheera, directed by S. S. Rajamouli. The film was a massive commercial success and went on to become one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of all time. Entrepreneurship, Production and Other Works:
Apart from acting, Ram Charan is also a producer and has produced several successful films under his banner, Konidela Production Company. He produced the films Khaidi No. 150, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Acharya and Godfather which starred his father Chiranjeevi in the lead role.
Apart from his career in films, Ram Charan is also an entrepreneur. He co-owns the Hyderabad-based airline TruJet and is also a director of the company. TruJet is a regional airline that operates flights to several destinations in South India.
Ram Charan is an Equestrian and learned horse riding in his childhood. He also owns the polo team ‘Ram Charan Hyderabad Polo Riding Club’. He also worked as a director for some time on Maa Tv in 2011.
